రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లోని క్షవర వృత్తి శాలలకు (కటింగ్ షాపులకు), లాండ్రీ షాపులకు, దోభీఘాట్లకు నెలకు 250 యూనిట్ల వరకు నాణ్యమైన విద్యుత్తును ఉచితంగా ఇవ్వాలని సీఎం శ్రీ కె. చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు నిర్ణయించారు. రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా రజక సంఘాలు, నాయీ బ్రాహ్మణ సంఘాలు ప్రభుత్వానికి ఇప్పటికే చేసిన విజ్జప్తులను పరిశీలించిన మీదట సీఎం ఈ నిర్ణయాన్ని తీసుకున్నారు. ఇందుకు సంబంధించి తక్షణమే జీవో జారీ చేయాల్సిందిగా సీఎంఓ కార్యదర్శి శ్రీ భూపాల్ రెడ్డికి సీఎం ఆదేశించారు. సీఎం ఆదేశాల మేరకు అందుకు సంబంధించిన జీఓను బీసీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ ప్రిన్సిపల్ సెక్రెటరీ శ్రీ బుర్ర వెంకటేశం విడుదల చేశారు. ఈ ఉచిత విద్యుత్తు సరఫరా ఏప్రిల్ 1 తారీఖు నుంచే అమల్లోకి రానున్నది.

అత్యంత బలహీన వర్గాల అభ్యున్నతే తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని వారి సంక్షేమం కోసం ఇప్పటికే అనేకల పథకాలను అమలు పరుస్తున్నామని సీఎం తెలిపారు. ఈ నిర్ణయం ద్వారా గ్రామ స్థాయి నుంచి జీహెచ్ఎంసీ దాకా వున్న కటింగు షాపులకు, లాండ్రీ షాపులకు, దోభీ ఘాట్ల కు 250 (రెండు వందల యాభై) యూనిట్ల వరకు నాణ్యమైన కరెంటు ఉచితంగా అందుబాటులోకి రానున్నదన్నారు. తద్వారా, తర తరాలుగా కుల వృత్తిని ఆధారంగా చేసుకుని జీవనం కొనసాగిస్తున్న తెలంగాణలోని లక్షలాది రజక, నాయీ బ్రాహ్మణ కుటుంబాలకు లబ్ధి చేకూరనున్నదన్నారు. సాంకేతికాభివృద్ది కారణంగా పలు రకాల యంత్రాలు వీరి కుల వృత్తుల నిర్వహణలో దోహద పడుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న ఉచిత విద్యుత్తు నిర్ణయం ద్వారా వృత్తి దారులకు శారీరక శ్రమ తగ్గి, ఆర్ధిక వెసులు బాటు కూడా కలగనున్నది.

CM Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao has decided to provide up to 250 units of quality electricity per month at free of cost to barber shops, laundry shops and dobhi ghats in all parts of the state. CM took this decision after examining the grievances already made to the government by the Rajaka and Naayi Brahmin Associations across the state.

CM directed CMO Secretary Sri Bhoopal Reddy to issue G.O immediately in this regard. As per the directions of the CM , principle secretary for BC welfare Sri Burra Venkatesham has issued a G.O. This free power supply will come into effect from April 1.

The CM said that the Telangana government’s goal was to uplift the most vulnerable sections (MBCs) and that the state government has been already implementing a number of schemes for their welfare. The decision will provide up to 250 (two hundred and fifty) units of quality electricity free of cost to cutting shops, laundry shops and dobi ghats from the village level to GHMC,.

Thus, millions of Rajaka and Naayi Brahmin families in Telangana, who have been living on the basis of caste occupation for generations, will be benefited.

As advancement in the technology the free electricity decision taken by the government will help the artisans in the wake of various machines contributing to the management of their caste occupations, will reduce the physical labor, as well as improve the financial position.
