రాష్ట్రంలోని రెండవ శ్రేణి భాషా పండితులు, పిఇటిల పోస్టులను స్కూల్ అసిస్టెంట్ పోస్టులుగా అప్ గ్రేడ్ చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. దీనికి సంబంధించిన ఫైలుపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ కేసీఆర్ మంగళవారం సంతకం చేశారు. ప్రపంచ తెలుగు మహాసభల సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ తెలుగు భాషా పండితుల పోస్టులను అప్ గ్రేడ్ చేస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. ఇప్పుడు ఆ హామీని నిలబెట్టుకున్నారు. ఇకపై తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో గ్రేడ్ 2 పండిట్ల పోస్టులుండవు. ఈ నిర్ణయంతో రాష్ట్రంలోని వేలాది మంది భాషా పండితులకు మేలు జరుగుతుంది.

తెలుగు పండిట్లు, పిఇటిలను స్కూలు అసిస్టెంట్లుగా అప్ గ్రేడ్ చేస్తూ ప్రభుత్వం ఉత్తర్వులు ఇవ్వడం పట్ల టీచర్ ఎమ్మెల్సీలు హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ప్రభుత్వ చీఫ్ విప్ శ్రీ పాతూరి సుధాకర్ రెడ్డి, ఎమ్మెల్సీలు శ్రీ పూల రవీందర్, శ్రీ జనార్థన్ రెడ్డి, కవి, రచయిత శ్రీ దేశపతి శ్రీనివాస్ ప్రగతి భవన్ లో మంగళవారం ముఖ్యమంత్రిని కలిసి కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు. భాషా పండితుల చిరకాల వాంఛను కేసీఆర్ నెరవేర్చారని, విద్యారంగ చరిత్రలో ఇదొక అపూర్వ నిర్ణయంగా నిలిచిపోతుందని వారు అన్నారు. సిఎం కేసీఆర్ కు తెలుగు భాషపై ఉన్న ప్రేమకు ఇది నిదర్శనమన్నారు.

The Government has decided to upgrade the posts of secondary grade language pandits and PETs as School Assistants Posts. Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao has signed on the file pertaining to the upgradation of the posts on Tuesday. The CM has promised to upgrade the posts of Secondary grade language pandits in the World Telugu Conference. And now CM has fulfilled the promise. With this effect the posts of Secondary Grade 2 pandits posts will be ceased in Telangana. Thousands of language pandits are benefited with this decision.

Teacher MLCs expressed their happiness over the decision of government issuing orders pertaining to the upgradation of the language pandits. Government Chief Whip Sri Paturi Sudhakar Reddy, MLCs Sri Pula Ravinder, Sri Janardhan Reddy, Poet and writer Sri Deshpathi Srinivas met CM in Pragathi Bhavan and expressed their thanks.They said that CM has fulfilled long lasting desire of the language pandits and said that it is memorable decision in the field of education. This decision reflects the CMs fondness and affection for the language.
