జనవరి 17, 2019న తెలంగాణ నూతన శాసనసభ కార్యకలాపాలు ఉదయం 11.30 గంటలకు ప్రారంభమవుతాయి. శాసనసభ సమావేశాలు జనవరి 20 వరకు కొనసాగుతాయి. కొత్తగా ఎన్నికైన శాసనసభ సభ్యుల్లో సీనియర్ అయిన చార్మినార్ ఎమ్మెల్యే ముంతాజ్ అహ్మద్ ఖాన్ ని జనవరి 16న సాయంత్రం 5 గంటలకు, రాజ్ భవన్ లో గవర్నర్ ఇఎస్ఎల్ నరసింహన్ ప్రోటెం స్పీకర్ గా ప్రమాణ స్వీకారం చేయిస్తారు.

కొత్తగా ఎన్నికైన ఇతర శాసనసభ సభ్యులు 17 జనవరి నాడు ప్రమాణ స్వీకారం చేస్తారు. ఆ మధ్యాహ్నం జూబ్లీహాల్ ప్రాంగణంలో శాసనసభ సభ్యులకు మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం ఏర్పాటు చేస్తారు. అదే రోజున స్పీకర్ ఎన్నిక షెడ్యూల్ ప్రకటన, నామినేషన్ల స్వీకారం వుంటాయి.

జనవరి 18న నూతన సభాధ్యక్షుడి అధ్యక్షతన సభాకార్యక్రమాలు, స్పీకర్ ఎన్నిక వుంటుంది. ఆ తర్వాత బీఎసీ సమావేశం జరుగుతుంది. జనవరి 19న ఉభయ సభలనుద్దేశించి గవర్నర్ ప్రసంగిస్తారు. జనవరి 20న గవర్నర్ ప్రసంగానికి శాసనసభ ధన్యవాదాలు తెలుపుతుంది.

The newly constituted Telangana Legislative Assembly will commence its proceedings on 17th January 2019 at 11.30 am. The session will go on till 20th January. The senior-most legislator of the House Sri Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, MLA from Charminar constituency, will take oath as Pro-tem Speaker in Raj Bhavan at 5 pm on 16th January. Governor Sri ESL. Narasimhan will administer the oath.

The MLAs-designate will take oath on 17th January. An official lunch will be hosted in the honour of MLAs in the lawns of Council Hall in the Jubilee Hall premises. Schedule of Speaker’s election will be announced and the nomination process will also commence on the same day.

On January 18, new Speaker to the Telangana Assembly will be elected. New Speaker will convene the House and the first BAC thereafter. Hon’ble Governor will address the joint session of Telangana legislature on 19th January. The House will then move the motion of thanks to the Governor’s address.
